Delete Account

How to close a Meerkat Universe account.

In the app

Account deletion is available inside the app itself:

Open Settings from the home screen.
Go to the Account section.
Choose Delete Account and confirm.

The app will ask for confirmation before anything is deleted. Deleting an account is not reversible, and progress saved to that account cannot be recovered afterwards.

Deleting the account is not the same as deleting the app. Removing the app from a device leaves the account and its saved progress in place; deleting the account removes the saved progress from the account.

If you cannot reach the in-app option

Deletion needs a working connection, because it removes data held outside the device. If the option does not complete, try again on a working connection.

You can also ask us to delete an account by email. Write to meerkatuniverse.support@gmail.com and include the friend code shown on the profile screen in the app, so we can find the right account. We will respond within one month, as the law requires.

What deletion removes

The saved game progress held for the account.
The published profile — display name, friend code, level and picture — so the player no longer appears on the leaderboard or in player search.
Friendships and any pending friend requests.

Crash reports and product-measurement records are described in the Privacy Policy, along with how long each is kept.

Deletion is not reversible. Progress removed this way cannot be restored, and a player who starts again begins from the first level.
